As your donor database grows, it becomes essential to segment contacts effectively. Grouping contacts allows for better management and targeted communication.
Groups are used to build a donor profile, which can include key indicators like location, interests, or donor type. These can vary depending on your organization’s needs.
The system displays these indicators in a profile tab. Single-select options might include location, while multiple-select options could include interests. Checkboxes can denote roles such as Board Member. Your profile tab can be configured during setup, and ad-hoc groups can also be created.
Groups can be organized by category to maintain a tidy system. This allows you to target bulk emails to specific groups and run reports using different group criteria.
